Professor Emmanuel Boss
University of Maine; Lead, NASA PACE Science Team, 2014-2018
Emmanuel Boss is a professor of marine science at the University of Maine. He is an aquatic physicist and oceanographer who works on a variety of oceanographic topics, ranging from phytoplankton blooms to sediment transport. He is known for his research in marine optics, bio-optics, and the interaction of light with microscopic life and particles in the ocean.
